Responsibilities

• Interviews discharged patients who are unable to pay their bills and reviews applications for completeness and eligibility.
• Promotes the quality and effectiveness of financial counseling services and prepares reports on outcomes.
• Assesses potential candidates for admission to Tisch by collecting financial data from patients and collaborators.
• Explains insurance coverage and deposits to patients and assists in applying for financial assistance programs.
