Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MassHealth, CarePlus, Connector Care, Health Safety Net and assist applications.
• Submit Massachusetts health coverage applications via Health Connector.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for accurate billing and claims.
• Collect and record patient demographics and insurance data during registration.
• Assist patients in applying for or understanding financial assistance programs.
• Act as patient representative in Health Connector cases and notices.
• Assist with massHealth redetermination and Health Connector processes.
• Provide financial counseling and connect patients with assistance programs.
• Comply with billing regulations and hospital policies.
