Job summary

Vitruvian Health, serving northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee, seeks a Customer Service / Patient Accounts professional to support billing and reimbursement processes. You will communicate with patients and payers, resolve issues, and guide financial options while ensuring accuracy in posting payments and applying financial assistance where appropriate.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with CRCR/CPAR preferred and 1–2 years in hospital billing or customer service; 2–4

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; college courses preferred.
• Licensure: CRCR or CPAR preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years hospital billing or customer service required; 2–4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients and other customers, verbally and in writing.
• Answers and resolves issues presented by patients, agencies, payers, and staff.
• Assists with billing, payment posting, and reimbursement tasks.
• Explains financial responsibility options to patients/guarantors.
• Establishes payment agreements and initiates financial assistance applications.
