Job summary

Bradley Physician Services, LLC, part of Vitruvian Health, seeks a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims, support patient accounts, and ensure proper reimbursement.

This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS, experience with billing software and EHR, and strong communication to resolve discrepancies with insurers and patients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a physician services setting.
  • Proficient in medical billing software and EHR systems.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
  • Excellent understanding of insurance carrier requirements and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve billing issues efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve coding errors and claim rejections.
  • Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in billing regulations, coding guidelines, and insurance policies.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Protect the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Billing Specialist at Bradley Physician Services, LLC is responsible for accurate and timely processing of medical claims, ensuring proper reimbursement and maintaining patient accounts. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of medical billing practices.
