UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple improvement initiatives across the Medical Center and Medical Group. You will partner with hospital leaders, departments, and staff to plan, execute, and sustain performance and quality projects.

The role requires 5+ years in business/healthcare settings and 3+ years in project management, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication. A flexible schedule and interdisciplinary collaboration are emphasized.

Formación

• Five years related work experience in Business, Healthcare or related field.
• Three years of project management experience.
• Ability to multi-task, trace progress and quality of project plans, as well as on-going work.
• Must be able to work independently and function as a team member who fosters effective communication and coordination of department efforts.
• Must show willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change in priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word, in addition to working knowledge of Access.

Responsabilidades

• Designs hospital-wide improvement projects and initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manages projects to completion with defined team, plan, timeline, and deliverables.
• Establishes and implements project metrics and adjusts activities for success.
• Escalates barriers to ensure timely project progress and outcomes.
• Creates regular project communications and reports for leaders and stakeholders.
• Develops and delivers presentations related to projects at department or hospital level.
• Evaluates and recommends vendors for services or products related to project needs.
• Serves as a resource and advisor on project management practices for staff and leaders.
