UPMC in Pittsburgh seeks a Patient & Family Concierge to provide compassionate service to patients, families, and visitors across hospital operations, coordinating destinations and assisting with transport, dietary, environmental services, and supply tasks.

The role emphasizes patient satisfaction, privacy, and teamwork with nursing and support staff; prior health care or customer service experience is a plus.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Health care or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Mansioni

• Destination Coordination: greet and direct patients and visitors, provide directions, manage parking passes, and assist with belongings.
• Environmental Services: clean, stock supplies, and maintain patient areas.
• Dietary Services: assist with meal delivery according to diet orders and safety guidelines.
• Transportation Services: move patients and equipment between units safely and accurately.
• Telehealth Cart Retrieval and Set Up: retrieve and set up telehealth carts, perform weekly testing.
• Supply & Equipment Management: organize and deliver supplies, monitor inventories and logs.
• General: answer phones, answer call lights, assist with plans of care, ensure infection control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
