Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is hiring a Full-Time Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, 7F. This role supports patients, families and clinical staff with bedside, stocking and administrative tasks, guiding visitors, delivering meals, transporting patients and managing supplies to ensure a smooth, compassionate experience from arrival to discharge.

This is a three 12-hour shift schedule weekly (36 hours) with rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or active enrollment in a high school/GED program, or one year of previous work experience in lieu of a diploma/GED
• Must demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to provide an exceptional experience for patients and families at all times
• Previous experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients and visitors.
• Assist with patient transport, meal delivery, and supply replenishment.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces and report maintenance needs.
• Answer phones, respond to call lights, and provide non-clinical assistance.
