North Jersey Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Paramus, NJ is seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator for an in-office role. The candidate will bridge clinical care with patient experience, guiding treatment plans and financial options while maintaining professional patient interactions.

Responsibilities include coordinating insurance details, scheduling, patient communications, and HIPAA-compliant handling of information. Previous oral surgery exposure is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience required.
• Medical or dental experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Updates and maintains patient insurance information.
• Maintains doctor schedule to ensure efficient use of the doctor’s time.
• Partners with clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience.
• Adheres to deadlines and prioritize work against the patient schedule.
• Collects payments from patients in an effective and professional manner.
• Understands doctor treatment recommendations and develops treatment plans from diagnosis.
• Effectively communicates treatment options and associated costs to the patient.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
