Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred (1+ year).
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Manage front-office operations and administrative tasks.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain payment policies.
• Collect and communicate patient financial responsibility.
• Support the practice manager, providers, and staff for smooth operations.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Perform routine office procedures and operate medical equipment.
• Monitor quality assurance programs and patient result tracking.
• Travel to other University Hospitals Urgent Care locations as needed.
