Job summary

The Therapy Front Desk at Orthopedic-Centers-of-Colorad ensures the clinic meets required standards, including HIPAA, OSHA and compliance rules, while delivering courteous, prompt patient check-in and registration.

Key duties include eligibility checks, correcting charts, Phreesia appointment validations, pre-registration, greeting patients, answering calls, and collecting insurance and demographic information to support a smooth ProviderFlow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Skills in operating business office machines.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility check.
• Fixing charts/mistakes.
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellation/reschedules.
• Pre-registration.
• Recognize, greet, and register patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
• ProviderFlow.
• Answer all phone calls and voice messages pleasantly and handle patient needs expeditiously.
• Verify current informational statuses and collect insurance information, demographic information and signatures as needed.
