Job summary

Select Medical in Destin, FL seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and support both patient and center operations. You’ll handle co-pays, verify insurances, and coordinate with payers, attorneys, and translation services to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The role offers full-time hours, a Weekdays schedule (7:30am to 5:30pm), and compensation of $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• Health Care Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
