Job summary

Select Medical in Tampa, FL is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to be the welcoming front desk presence at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit steps, and help schedule appointments while balancing the business side of the center.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience with insurance verification; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Front desk and medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visit steps and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with insurance companies, translation services, and center leadership.
• Collect co-pays and handle payer approvals and insurance verifications.
