Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a Part-time Patient Experience representative to support the Complex Surgery unit with administrative duties and patient coordination. You will ensure a positive patient experience by coordinating services for patients and families and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include encounter management, scheduling, triage of calls, admissions/discharges, and routine clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient encounter management and scheduling support.
• Coordinate with referring providers and practices.
• Obtain authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules.
• Record and forward messages; triage calls for urgent information or services.
• Process admissions and discharges; provide routine clerical support.
