Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Occupational Health Assistant for front desk reception and patient registration. This full-time role supports the Medical and Administrative Directors with clerical tasks and care team coordination.

The position emphasizes patient greeting, registration accuracy, insurance information collection, and collaboration with occupational health staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; College coursework preferred.
• 3 to 5 years medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology; Coding experience preferred.
• Must be well organized, communicate clearly and maintain a calm and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients to department in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner and ensures that the wait time is comfortable
• Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare and maintain patient's records, obtain accurate insurance and registration information
• Perform other special assignments as requested. Support staff with clerical tasks and participates in care team meetings
