Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure patients complete necessary forms for EHR and billing.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information; verify eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Ensure good patient flow through front office with timely processing.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding registration or billing.
• Refer medical inquiries to the medical assistant or physician.
• Schedule patients with appropriate physicians.
• Document scanning into EHR; obtain prior authorizations.
• Schedule new patient referrals.
• Other duties as assigned.
