Job summary

Center For Sight in Venice, FL is seeking a friendly Patient Care Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, verify information, assist with check-in, and support scheduling and front-desk operations.

You will handle patient questions, collect co-pays, and keep schedules, charts, and reports up to date in a fast-paced clinic environment. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Must be able to work under pressure and respond to patient requests in a positive manner.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff.
• Check-in patients and verify information.
• Print daily schedules and manage appointment flow.
• Assist walk-in patients with scheduling and pickups.
• Disseminate information using phone systems and software.
• Update charts for upcoming day’s appointments.
• Maintain a neat, safe workspace.
• Make appointment confirmation calls.
• Collect co-payments and any account balances.
• Complete reports and forms as requested.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
