Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; or at least six months of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures, including data entry and insurance verification.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and/or outstanding balances.
• Check out patients and schedule follow-up appointments; communicate items at checkout.
• Answer phone calls and emails from patients and COPC departments; escalate when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient data and HIPAA compliance.
• Support front desk operations and EPIC-related duties as needed.
