Job summary

UC Health Cincinnati is seeking a patient services representative to be the main contact for patients, guiding them through arrival, registration, and routing to services while delivering compassionate, HIPAA-compliant care.

You will perform front desk duties, answer questions, schedule changes, assist with MyChart enrollment, collect co-pays, coordinate insurance information, and support care teams with pre-visit planning and records management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.
• 0–6 months of related experience is required; 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly when they enter and assist with directions.
• Answer questions and coordinate day-of scheduling changes.
• Assist patients in locating destinations within the facility.
• Contact transportation as needed for patient travel.
• Round lobby to ensure patients are being assisted.
• Answer calls and route to appropriate areas.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and guidelines.
• Conduct end-of-day reconciliation.
