Job summary

Community Care Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, check in for appointments, and manage registrations with care and confidentiality. You will assist with scanning documents, collect copays, balance cash, and route calls to the clinical staff while maintaining a welcoming reception area.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work with diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner
• Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts
• Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records
• Collect and post copayments and outstanding balances; balance cash drawer daily
• Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees
• Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized
• Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
