Dignity Health Medical Foundation in California is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the primary contact for patients, physicians and clinic staff. You will answer calls via multiple channels and schedule appointments using our electronic systems while verifying insurance and processing referrals as needed.

The role requires a helpful, problem‑solving mindset and a commitment to excellent patient experiences, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced clinic

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience scheduling patient appointments, via phone or in person.
• Experience with computer systems including Windows-based programs and web applications.

Responsabilités

• Answer patient and physician calls with courtesy and accuracy.
• Collect and update demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments using electronic systems and EHRs.
• Verify health plan eligibility and process referrals/authorizations as needed.
• Maintain professional, calm, and customer‑focused interactions.
• Meet quality metrics and documentation standards.
• Provide timely, clear information and escalate when appropriate.
