Job summary

UC Health (Cincinnati) is seeking a Patient Services Representative to act as the primary point of contact for patients entering and leaving our clinics. You will greet patients, manage scheduling changes, assist with registrations, collect demographics, and help with MyChart enrollment while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

This role supports insurance coordination, pre-authorizations when needed, and coordination with care teams to ensure smooth patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.
• 0–6 months of equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years of equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist with day-of scheduling changes.
• Coordinate registrations and collect demographic information.
• Verify patient benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Assist with MyChart enrollment and provide patient support.
• Coordinate insurance updates and billing-related data.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate areas.
