Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Florida is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for the Scully-Welsh Cancer Center to ensure a welcoming and efficient patient experience. This role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with 2 years of relevant experience, or an associate/bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Windows PC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• OR an Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience, OR Bachelor's Degree.
• Working knowledge of Windows PC applications and basic math for insurance co-pays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient registration, visit preparation and scheduling.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and appointment inquiries.
• Create a welcoming and professional environment for patients and visitors.
• Support front desk operations and scheduling at the Cancer Center.
