Job summary

Colorado Springs Cardiology is seeking a Patient Services Representative to welcome patients, complete admissions and scheduling, verify insurance, and ensure accurate EMR data. The role requires handling payments, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting coordination across clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, admissions, or scheduling role.
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel between practice sites as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare administration education is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential patient information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and complete admissions and scheduling tasks.
• Verify insurance information and enter data into the EMR.
• Collect time-of-service payments and reconcile daily transactions.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and referrals.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA and office policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
