Job summary

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping them schedule appointments, update information, and answer questions to ensure a smooth journey toward better health.

You will work to provide the best patient experience by coordinating between patients, providers, and the clinic, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to treat people in a non-judgmental, friendly manner.
• Preferred: 12+ months of medical office experience.
• Preferred: EMR systems experience and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, assist with check-in and check-out.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Verify insurance and explain patient financial responsibilities.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances.
• Answer calls and assist with patient inquiries.
• Obtain vitals and lab specimens as required.
• Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Maintain patient records following HIPAA and guidelines.
• Coordinate between patients, providers, and clinic to close the loop.
