Job summary

Emplify Health, in partnership with Gundersen Health System, is seeking a friendly Patient Attendant to join our Patient Experience Team at the La Crosse Main Campus. You will warmly greet patients, family members, and visitors and help them navigate the hospital and clinics, contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm with weekend rotations, starting pay $16.47 per hour plus benefits including 401(k) with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with the public.
• 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, directing, escorting, and assisting patients, visitors, and families throughout the hospital and clinic.
• Transport and assist patients safely, including wheelchair assistance and escorts to departments using proper safety procedures.
• Support check-in processes for visitors and vendors and respond to customer questions, concerns, or needs using appropriate resources.
• Monitor and maintain facility entrances and public areas, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and free of clutter.
