Job summary

UPMC Jameson is seeking a part-time Patient & Family Concierge to support patients, families and visitors on the 2200 Acute Care Team. The role emphasizes creating exceptional experiences and easing navigation through the hospital.

Responsibilities span coordinating patient arrival, environmental and dietary services, transport, telehealth setup, and supply management. You will engage with patients daily, help with mobility, and uphold Infection Control and UPMC values.

Responsibilities

• Destination Coordination: Greet and escort patients/families; provide directions and info; issue parking passes.
• Environmental Services: Clean and stock areas; report maintenance needs.
• Dietary Services: Assemble meals, ensure food safety, deliver trays per orders.
• Transportation Services: Move patients/equipment between units; log activities.
• Telehealth Cart: Retrieve, set up, decontaminate cart; perform weekly tests.
• Supply & Equipment: Order and stock supplies; manage inventory and storage.
• General: Answer phones, respond to call lights, assist patients; promote mobility and daily plans.
• Compliance: Follow infection control procedures and mandatory reporting; uphold UPMC values.
