Job summary

UPMC McKeesport is seeking a Flex Full Time Senior Patient & Family Concierge to support patients, families, and visitors in the 3 M Acute Care Unit. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality service and guiding guests through their hospital experience.

You will coordinate arrivals, escorts, and patient information with privacy in mind, assist with transport and daily operations, and partner with clinical teams to ensure smooth, respectful care from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities

• Destination Coordination: greet patients and families, provide directions, escort to destinations while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Transportation & Equipment: move patient-specific equipment and assist with transport between units; maintain logs of transport activities.
• Administrative Support: manage patient charts, schedule transports, assist with hospital operations and documentation.
• General Duties: answer phones, respond to call lights, engage with patients to assess needs and ensure comfort and satisfaction.
