Job summary

BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, California, is seeking a Hospital Relations Specialist - Per Diem to support the Clinical Services Department. You will meet and greet new admissions, round the units, and help ensure a positive patient experience throughout treatment.

You will proactively address concerns in real time, follow up with patients and involved parties, and respond to complaints in line with regulatory guidelines, documenting every action in the Grievance Log and Midas.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience working with others in a human services capacity, with inpatient psychiatric populations preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in mental health/behavioral science field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet new admissions and round the units to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Proactively support the patient experience and help resolve concerns in real time.
• Follow up on patient and involved parties.
• Respond to complaints and grievances in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Document all efforts in Grievance Log and Midas.
