Kaniksu Community Health in Sandpoint, Idaho, seeks a Front Office Receptionist - Float to deliver excellent patient service across three clinics. You will handle check-ins, scheduling, reminders, and basic billing communications, while supporting front office teams in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

This role requires a high school diploma, medical office experience preferred, strong communication, confidentiality, and Spanish/English bilingual ability desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Previous front office or medical office experience preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are essential.
• Spanish/English bilingual ability desirable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety standards within the department.
• Coordinate and maintain a functioning schedule for all providers and ensure accurate appointment times.
• Primary patient check-in: verify demographic information in NextGen PM system.
• Primary patient check-out: verify alerts, payments, and information; schedule follow-ups.
• Remains available for patient access (except breaks) and keep waiting area neat.
• Closing duties: balance cash, secure records, and switch off equipment.
