Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Sarasota, FL seeks a front desk patient access specialist to manage scheduling, check-in, and checkout, while coordinating with physicians, clinics and insurers. This role requires a professional demeanor, accuracy with EHR/EMR, and strict confidentiality.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with background screening as part of our safety commitments. Experience in a physician office and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of experience in a physician office.
• Knowledge of EHR/EMR and medical terminology is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance required.

Mansioni

• Schedule patient appointments and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Serve as liaison between physician, patient, facility and insurer.
• Handle collections of monies at checkout and ensure accuracy.
