The role involves maintaining a clean lobby, restocking supplies, scheduling, and occasional involvement in prescription refill processes. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required competencies as listed on the job description.
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in person or by phone, collect demographic and insurance information.
• Assist patients with telephone encounters and de-escalate when needed.
• Direct patients to appointments or procedures and collect co-pays or balances.
• Obtain signatures and respond to questions about financial assistance programs.
• Perform End of Day reconciliation and assist with prescription refill orders as appropriate.
• Manage and organize the patient care lobby and support the department.
• Schedule appointments, answer/transfer calls, and participate in staff meetings.
• Perform weekly downtime checks and handle other duties as assigned.
