Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong customer service.
• Ability to work with doctors, clinical staff and the public.
• Ability to collect and maintain money accurately.
• Flexible schedule and ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Problem solving and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance and financial data.
• Assist with EMR data entry and patient scheduling.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles and balances; reconcile money daily.
• Answer inquiries and greet patients; manage phone calls and referrals as needed.
• Help patients with Phreesia tablets and forms.
• Process intake forms and schedule follow-up appointments per guidelines.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and participate in trainings.
