No healthcare background is required; we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation and scheduling workflows. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient privacy, and friendly professionalism throughout a fast-paced day.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience in retail, hospitality, call center, or healthcare settings.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone, including handling upset callers with patience.
• Basic computer proficiency; able to learn scheduling software, EMR systems, emails, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up on future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately, with basic reconciliation.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy in all front desk interactions and documentation.
