Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Strong phone communication and professionalism.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists and cancellations.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately and professionally, with basic reconciliation when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions.
