SporTherapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist in Fort Worth, TX. You are the first voice and face for patients, delivering a warm, organized and professional experience from the first call through every visit.

The role is fast-paced with ownership of patient flow, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments. We offer robust benefits, onboarding and clear growth paths across clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a medical front desk or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, EMR, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling and basic insurance professionally.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, cancellations, and future visits.
• Collect copays and other payments accurately; include basic payment tracking or reconciliation.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
