Job summary

HHSHHS is seeking a proactive culinary services leader at St Rita’s Medical Center to oversee the patient food service team and ambassador program. You will ensure food quality, safety, and patient nourishment while delivering compassionate, guest-first service across the facility.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, conduct daily rounds, and collaborate with nursing and hospital leadership to improve patient experience. Relocation for promotion opportunities is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and in customer service.
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent.
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or Licensed Dietitian preferred.
• Working knowledge of Press Ganey/NRC Picker.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to foster morale, quality, and respect within the team.
• Lead recruiting, training, and development of team members.
• Conduct daily inspections, patient rounding, and coaching sessions.
• Educate patients, families, nursing staff, and food service on nutritional needs.
• Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient nourishment.
• Implement and manage the patient ambassador program for high-quality service.
• Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to meet goals.
• Stay informed on patient satisfaction updates and best practices.
• Participate in QA/Performance Improvement and patient experience initiatives.
