Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the hospital food service operations. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, delivering patient trays, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean, safe food service areas.

Evening and weekend work is required on an every other weekend and holiday basis. Prior customer service or food service experience is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service or food service experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food as directed, ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes.
• Delivers patient trays, assists in tray assembly, and stocks supplies.
• Operates POS system and handles patient meal requests.
• Maintains food quality and hygiene; assists in cleaning and warewashing.
• Supports catering events and ensures accurate tray delivery to patients.
