Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a patient experience liaison to optimize satisfaction for patients and families. You will coordinate with hospital staff, track concerns, and help ensure timely resolution of issues with a focus on service recovery.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree, strong English/Spanish communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an on-site role requiring occasional evenings or weekends in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in a related field required or equivalent years of work experience.
• Experience: Dealing with clients in service-intensive environments (restaurants, hospitals, etc.).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and empathetic way.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• MS Access experience desired.
• ON SITE WORK SCHEDULE - Occasional weekend or evening hours required

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between patients/families and hospital staff to optimize patient satisfaction.
• Follows up with patients and staff to ensure timely resolution of issues or complaints.
• Logs patient complaints using RiskQual and tracks performance reports.
• Promotes an excellent patient experience by presenting Mount Sinai in a positive light to physicians, customers, patients, visitors and staff.
• Oversees cross-department initiatives and supports the Patient Experience program.
