HPRC Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our South Leawood team. You are the voice and face of the clinic, setting a welcoming, organized tone from the first call through every visit.

This role handles front desk operations, patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection, while upholding HIPAA and delivering calm, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical front desk or similar setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect payments accurately and maintain basic payment tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
