Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will manage check-in/out, handle calls, and support a smooth Total Patient Experience in a busy clinic environment.

The role requires strong customer service, basic office software skills, and the ability to work within HIPAA guidelines while coordinating with clinicians and staff across the office. Training provided; EOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical front desk role preferred.
• Minimum 1 year handling customer interactions.
• HIPAA awareness and patient privacy.
• Ability to verify insurance authorizations and process payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly check-in/out.
• Answer phones and route inquiries promptly.
• Process payments and reconcile cash drawer.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate with staff for efficiency.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy in all interactions.
• Perform general office duties as assigned by the manager.
