Clarkson Eyecare Ballwin, MO is seeking a Front Office Specialist to set the tone for a world class Total Patient Experience. You’ll handle check-in/check-out, greet patients, answer phones, and support daily front-desk operations in a busy optometry/ophthalmology practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical front office is preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Background check as per state requirements.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients and provide great service.
• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional attitude.
• Answer phones and ensure courteous, efficient service.
• Manage patient flow and communications to maximize efficiency and service quality.
• Double-check insurance authorizations for accuracy and processing.
• Process check-out, collect payments, and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Complete daily reconciliations and cash drawer closing.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies; perform general office duties as assigned.
