Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Tucson to manage front desk operations during check-in/out and deliver a best-in-class patient experience. Training will be provided to learn about our vision care services, helping patients see and live their best lives.

This role reports to the Office General Manager, and some weekend/evening shifts are required. You will verify insurance, assist with appointment confirmations, schedule appointments, and support the office team while

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role supporting administrative duties.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best-in-class service to patients and staff.
• Flexible, nimble and adaptable with the ability to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, caring, patient-centric mindset with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn about insurance plans and patient options.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience that is timely, seamless, and positive.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options during check in/out for appointments.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and support office staff duties as needed.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants or Optometric Technicians as needed.
