Job summary

Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Floater Patient Representative Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will support pre-visit planning, check-in, check-out, and post-visit follow-up while protecting confidentiality and complying with regulations.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to engage with patients, staff, and leadership, ensuring efficient operations and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, call center, or healthcare front desk).
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments, or reservations.
• Comfortable handling escalations with professionalism.
• Advanced English required; bilingual Spanish or Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner and direct them appropriately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copayments as needed.
• Perform check-in/check-out and update patient records in the system.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with care teams.
• Respond to patient questions and ensure timely service recovery.
