Sanitas is seeking a Floater Patient Representative Coordinator for our Plantation, FL Medical Center. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, guiding pre-visit planning, check-in, check-out, and post-visit follow-up while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with on-site duties and up to 5% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years in customer-facing roles in healthcare, hospitality, or call centers.
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/check-out, payments, or reservations.
• Ability to handle escalations professionally.
• English proficiency required; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors and determine the purpose of their visit.
• Verify insurance eligibility and complete pre-visit planning.
• Process check-in and collect copayments; update patient information.
• Assist with check-out, scheduling follow-ups, and documenting visits.
• Respond to patient questions with courtesy and accuracy.
• Protect PHI and maintain confidentiality.
• Support workflow efficiency and high-level customer service.
