Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact, setting the tone for a world class Total Patient Experience in a clinical setting.

This role handles check-in/out, insurance checks, and payments, requiring a high school diploma, strong customer service, and the ability to work across locations as needed. HIPAA compliance and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great service and support.
• Greet patients promptly with a smile and thank them when they leave.
• Answer phones (external and internal) and provide courteous service.
• Respect patient time and doctor schedules, showing urgency when needed.
• Double-check insurance authorizations to ensure completion and accurate flow sheets.
• Check out patients and collect payments according to procedures.
• Manage patient flow in the office and communicate to maximize efficiency.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
• Comply with all company policies and HIPAA procedures.
• Perform general office duties and light cleaning as directed.
