Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist for our endodontic practice in Santa Barbara. You will be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming patient experience and supporting smooth daily operations.

We value teamwork and compassionate care. Candidates should have at least one year of receptionist experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule is full-time, Mon-Thu 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as a Dental Receptionist.
• Customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
