Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of relevant education may substitute for one year of required work experience.
• Experience in health care setting preferred; familiarity with computerized scheduling and registration systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as the first contact in the practice or department.
• Coordinate patient flow and register patients for appointments and tests.
• Collect co-pays and perform Time-of-Service (TOS) payments.
• Schedule follow-ups and referrals and handle test requisitions.
• Manage patient records updates and ensure accurate demographic and insurance data.
