Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Perform patient registration in various systems.
• Answer all phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Collect patient payments for time‑of‑service responsibilities.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization as needed.
• Perform preliminary patient screening, including medical history, prior to procedures.
• Transport patients to and from the exam room and assist with transfers.
• Provide preliminary and post‑procedure instructions.
• Prepare medical records for physicians, patients, and customers.
• Schedule patient appointments and obtain insurance verification/authorization.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations in all duties.
