Job summary

OnePeak Medical in Eugene, OR is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will ensure a welcoming environment and accurate patient data entry while coordinating appointments and billing with care and empathy.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and six months of customer service experience. Proficiency with MS Office and an understanding of medical billing help you succeed in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent – required
• 6 months of customer service experience – required
• 6 months of front desk reception or scheduling in a medical office – strongly preferred
• Prior PM/EHR experience – strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – strongly preferred
• Computer/Tech Savvy – strongly preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance payors – strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a warm welcome to patients and visitors.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information in the patient portal.
• Manage a multi-line telephone system and schedule appointments.
• Maintain the reception desk, waiting areas, and office files.
• Handle payments, copays, and billing documentation.
• Attend department and clinical meetings and complete end-of-day duties.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities to support OnePeak Medical.
