Job summary

Hopscotch Primary Care is seeking a Welcome Coordinator at our Brevard, NC clinic. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm, patient-centered experience while managing phone and electronic communications, reception, and front office operations.

Based in our Brevard clinic, the role runs Mon-Fri, 8-5, with travel to other Western North Carolina clinics as needed. You will coordinate scheduling, paperwork, and communication across the care team to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service in a medical or professional setting.
• Kind, positive attitude and passion for helping others.
• Proficiency with computers and basic office software.
• Ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/out.
• Verify insurance and collect copays.
• Maintain and coordinate multiple schedules.
• Update patient information in the EHR.
• Assist with forms and paperwork.
• Schedule appointments and outreach.
• Coordinate transportation for patients.
• Handle calls and messages for the care team.
• Support front office operations and other duties as needed.
